Overview

The Task Order Project Lead II will serve as a senior-level specialist responsible for managing and coordinating logistics, program management, and personnel support activities for the Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) lifecycle. This role requires a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in project management, logistics operations, and personnel management. The Task Order Project Lead II will oversee critical aspects of UAS logistics, design interface, technical data management, manpower planning, property accountability, and program support, ensuring seamless execution of task order requirements.

Responsibilities

Logistics Services:

  • Lifecycle Logistics Support: Provide comprehensive planning, development, and execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) requirements for the UAS portfolio, including supply chain management, maintenance planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Supply Chain Risk Management: Analyze and assess supply chain risks related to sourcing, procurement, and technical management functions, including cybersecurity and quality manufacturing.

Design Interface:

  • Human Systems Integration (HSI) and RAM: Analyze and assess requirements related to HSI and Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) to ensure optimal system design and performance.
  • Design Reviews: Participate in design-related reviews, including System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), and Test Readiness Review (TRR), providing expert recommendations for improvement.

Technical Data Management:

  • Digital Enterprise Framework: Support the management of Digital Enterprise product data and Digital Thread framework, ensuring accurate logistics product data and system models.
  • Technical Documentation: Analyze and assess engineering change proposals, modification work orders, and requests for waivers and deviations to identify logistics impacts and requirements for lifecycle product support.

Manpower and Personnel:

  • Personnel Planning: Identify, plan, and assist with resourcing personnel with the grades and skills required to operate and maintain UAS systems effectively.
  • Program Documentation: Develop and maintain manpower-related program documentation, including the Manpower Estimate Report (MER) and Manpower Requirements Criteria (MARC).

Property Accountability and Management:

  • Property Custodian Responsibilities: Support daily management of Government Property (GP), ensuring accountability and compliance with Federal, DoD, and Army regulations.
  • Audit Readiness: Establish and maintain audit readiness for financial statement assertions related to property accountability and management.

Program Support Specialist:

  • Program Coordination: Advise, assist, and coordinate plans and operations for the UAS Project Office, including briefings, conference planning, and internal control procedures.
  • Employee Management: Oversee cradle-to-grave administration for employee in-processing, out-processing, orientation, and record maintenance.

Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Program or Project Management, Business Management, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 12 years of task-related experience in logistics, program management, and personnel support.
  • Certifications:
    • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Program Management Professional (PgMP), or Level III Program Management Certification from the Defense Acquisition University.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in logistics operations, program management, and personnel planning.
    • Proficiency in managing technical data, design interface, and property accountability.
  • Security Clearance:
    • Active SECRET clearance required.

Work Location:

  • Primary: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
  • Secondary: Authorized virtual work location per customer Telework Policy. Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required at other locations.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal, DoD, and Army regulations related to logistics and program management.
