Solar & Smart Energy Installer (Field Lead Trajectory)

What You’ll Do

You won't just be doing entry-level busywork—you’ll be on the front lines of smart energy installations, making sure every roof setup runs efficiently from start to finish.

• Build Custom Systems: Measure, cut, assemble, and secure structural racking and high-efficiency solar modules based on site plans and schematics.
• Master Technical Plans: Read and interpret structural drawings and electrical blueprints to assemble clean, reliable solar arrays.
• Lead on Safety & Quality: Keep yourself, your crew, and the customer safe by following strict fall protection standards and proper harness setup on every job.
• Handle Basic Electrical Work: Learn and perform basic electrical checks and current checks as you help tie in smart home energy gear.
• Leave Sites Spotless: Respect the homeowner's property by maintaining clean job sites, managing equipment, and removing debris when the work is done.
• Step Up as a Leader: As you gain experience, you'll help onboard new team members and set the standard for clean workmanship in the field.

What We’re Looking For

• License: A valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience & Aptitude: Construction, roofing, or hands-on mechanical experience is a big plus. If you don't have solar experience yet but have strong trade fundamentals and a fast learning curve, we’ll teach you.
• Comfort at Heights: Ability to work on high-sloped rooftops, walk on tiles/shingles without damage, and stay balanced and focused using safety gear.
• Physical Capability: Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly, handle physical work in extreme Texas heat/cold, and wear proper PPE.
• Team & Customer Focus: Great communication, strong work ethic, and a genuine commitment to doing the job right the first time.
