Position Summary

  • Interact with customers, perform minor service to solar installs, planning and preparation of paperwork, materials, tools for upcoming inspections. Typically a M-F schedule

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Planning and preparation of paperwork, tools and materials required for all appointed, upcoming inspections.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs installation violations pertaining to inspection failure reasons.
  • Responds to service calls and permitting pick-ups if needed.
  • Performs minor services related to solar installations.
  • Ensures jobsite cleanliness during completion of inspection process.
  • Interacts with customer while at worksite.   
  • Provides clear instructions and details when documenting/reporting inspection results.     
  • Updates daily results on company CRM and databases.  
  • Practices safety standards.  

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving history.
  • Must have professional experience working outdoors and at heights.
  • Must be able to carry 40 pounds up a ladder.
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to work professionally with homeowners and team members
  • Foster a positive and safe working environment through exemplary behavior and attitude.
  • Must be willing to get OSHA certified (paid for by the company).
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair deficiencies in solar products while in the field.
