Key Responsibilities
- Accompany technicians to job sites and assist with site setup and breakdown.
- Stage ladders, cones, tarps, and safety equipment.
- Carry tools, equipment, and replacement parts.
- Take site photos as directed and maintain safe distances from energized equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and roof-access rules.
- Receive, log, and organize incoming equipment and parts in the warehouse.
- Pick and stage materials for daily jobs; assist with inventory counts.
- Label and store components properly; maintain clean workspaces.
- Prepare return shipments (RMAs) under direction.
- Assist with loading vehicles and report any equipment or vehicle issues.
- Complete company safety onboarding and basic solar awareness training.
- Observe troubleshooting in the field without participating.
What This Role Cannot Do
- Perform independent field or electrical work.
- Conduct diagnostics or make technical decisions.
- Work on roofs without direct technician supervision.
- Provide technical customer support.
- Sign off on completed jobs or documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work outdoors and at heights.
- Ability to lift and carry tools and materials safely.
- Strong reliability, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Load and unload vehicles and secure materials properly. Drive material from warehouse to job or job to job.
