Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant solar electrical work for residential projects. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, wire, and commission solar PV systems (roof and ground-mounted)
  • Troubleshoot and repair solar electrical systems
  • Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and system schematics
  • Ensure compliance with NEC and local codes
  • Test systems for performance and safety
  • Collaborate with installation crews and project managers
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Provide excellent customer service when on-site


Requirements:

  • Proven experience with solar PV systems (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Comfortable working on rooftops and ladders
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record


Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • NABCEP certification
  • Experience with battery storage systems
  • OSHA 10/30 certification
