Residential Solar | New Home Construction | Full-Time
MARS Builder Solutions (Solara) is hiring Solar Installers to support new home construction projects in the Valencia, CA area:
- 2 Installer II (Intermediate)
- 1 Installer I (Entry-Level)
What You’ll Do
- Install residential solar systems on new construction homes
- Work as part of a crew to complete installs safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Follow installation plans and coordinate with other trades on active job sites
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, including proper use of PPE and adherence to all protocols
- Support job site setup, material handling, and installation activities
What We’re Looking For
Installer I (Entry-Level)
- Construction or roofing experience preferred
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow direction and work safely as part of a crew
Installer II (Intermediate)
- Hands-on solar installation experience required
- Ability to perform installs with quality and minimal oversight
- Strong attention to detail, including clean installs and proper waterproofing
- Ability to communicate effectively with crew leadership and other trades
Role Details
- Reports directly to the job site in Valencia, CA (no daily office reporting)
- Work performed on active new construction sites alongside builders and other trades
- Travel may be required depending on project needs
- Must be able to reliably work in the Valencia area
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work on rooftops and climb ladders safely
- Ability to lift and carry materials (up to 50–75 lbs)
- Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to correctly use tools and required safety equipment, including fall protection
