  • Develop thermal solutions involving heat exchangers, cold plates, air/liquid cooling, and Environmental Control Systems (ECS).

  • Perform thermal and fluid calculations using principles of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.

  • Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks or CATIA.

  • Apply drawing and drafting standards, including GD&T.

  • Perform hardware assembly, repair, test setup, instrumentation, data analysis, and troubleshooting of ECS and related equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with military, environmental, and test specifications, including MIL-STD-810 and DO-160.

  • Prepare technical reports and present designs to peers, engineers, and customers.

  • Support senior engineers and guide junior team members.

Essential Skills

  • Strong knowledge of applied thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and mechanical design.

  • Hands-on thermal systems development and thermal/fluid calculations.

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks or CATIA.

  • Knowledge of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and GD&T.

  • Practical hardware testing, instrumentation, and troubleshooting experience.

  • Understanding of MIL-STD-810 and DO-160 specifications.
