The Licensed Survey provides leadership and technical oversight for the firm’s surveying operations. This position is accountable for establishing and maintaining best practices, managing current and new survey projects, ensuring project quality and compliance, and guiding the professional development of survey staff. The Licensed Surveyor serves as the primary authority on survey methodology, technology integration, and regulatory compliance while supporting client relations and business development objectives.

Skill sets must include performance and /or direction of specific survey work on diverse projects across market segments and with varying degrees of complexity. Specific survey work may be the following: client communication, budget/schedule performance, mentoring staff, managing subconsultants, survey reports, legal descriptions, field crew direction on specific projects, and quality control/quality assurance activities to deliver a quality design product.

Responsibilities include:

• Work in combination with Vice President of Survey to coordinate, manage and ensure successful realization of project and client needs/expectations.
• Work in combination with Vice President of Survey and other department Vice Presidents and or Project Managers to coordinate, manage and ensure successful realization of team development.
• Coordinate proposals and contracts
• Project management and coordination.
• Project schedules/budgets/billing.
• Project problem solving/finding solutions.
