Position Summary:
The MIU Athletics Department is seeking a creative, motivated, and enthusiastic Student Sports Videographer to join our Marketing and Creative team. This position plays a key role in capturing high-quality video content that highlights the energy, passion, and achievements of our men’s soccer, women’s flag football, tennis, and esports programs. The videographer will produce engaging video content for use across social media platforms, marketing materials, and the department website, helping to elevate the visibility and brand of MIU Athletics and its emerging initiative—Consciousness-Based Sports.

Job Responsibilities:
- Capture video footage of practices, games, team events, and behind-the-scenes content
- Edit and produce high-quality video segments optimized for digital platforms and promotional use
- Work with the marketing and social media teams to ensure visual content aligns with team and departmental branding
- Organize and archive video files for future use and reference
- Participate in Consciousness-Based Sports team meetings and contribute creative input to campaign initiatives
Job Qualifications:
- Genuine passion for sports and a strong interest in visual storytelling
- Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience with videography through academic coursework, personal projects, or professional work
- Proficiency with digital camera equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for event coverage
