POSITION SUMMARY
The Assembler 2 position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical/electronic equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standard.
- Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and/or limited supervision.
- Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electro-mechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures.
- Conduct inspection of own and/or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and/or customer drawing.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards.
- Maintain and acceptable attendance and safety record.
- Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Additional job duties and tasks as needed.
- Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed.
- Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech/Supervisor.
