Visit Sandy Springs is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Destination Services Manager to lead efforts in creating exceptional visitor experiences that elevate our city’s hospitality reputation as a premier destination for meetings, group travel, and tourism. Key Responsibilities

As the Destination Services Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of services for visiting groups, meetings, and events.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Visit Sandy Springs, event organizers, and local hospitality partners.
  • Coordinate logistics and vendor services to ensure smooth execution of group experiences.
  • Track requests and referrals using CRM software and assign RFPs to the Director of Sales when needed.
  • Offer tailored recommendations for accommodations, attractions, dining, and cultural experiences.
  • Assist with transportation and on-site logistics to ensure seamless group visits.
  • Represent Visit Sandy Springs at trade shows, FAM tours, and tourism-related events.
  • Maintain inventory of brochures, maps, and promotional materials.
  • Manage the destination services budget and procurement of supplies.
  • Cultivate relationships with local tourism stakeholders and hospitality businesses.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies that enhance brand engagement and visitor satisfaction.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in tourism, event coordination, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Skills & Knowledge

You Bring:

  • A strong grasp of tourism marketing, event services, and destination management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Sandy Springs’ hotels, venues, attractions, and resources.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and group travel trends.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to multitask, think on your feet, and respond resourcefully to changing needs.
  • A welcoming, inclusive mindset and a commitment to top-tier service.

Expectations & Work Environment

  • Maintain accurate records and data within CRM platforms.
  • Collaborate with tourism partners and respond proactively to client needs.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand or move for extended periods at events.
  • Work primarily in-office with regular offsite responsibilities at events and venues.
  • Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening post-offer.
