Duties And Responsibilities
· Create stylized visuals and compelling stories that represent the CISE community and convey the JMU brand · Cover all aspects of each assigned session/event to ensure the experience of the event is captured through photography · Edit and upload photos promptly using Adobe Photoshop or similar to enhance the visual impact of the images – ensuring the final product is high-quality. · Assign relevant keywords and tags to image metadata – including titles and descriptions. · Brainstorm new ideas for photography content · Manage and maintain equipment – ensuring it is in working order and properly stored.
Qualifications
· Strong photography skills – experience with composition and proper exposure · Creativity and originality · Enthusiasm for science, technology, and engineering · Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously · Self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills- including the ability to work independently and collaboratively · Proficient in Adobe or other photo editing software
