Billboard/Advertising Sales Executive

Position Summary:      

As a Billboard/Advertising Sales Executive, you will drive regional business growth for Jones Sign in the Northeast Wisconsin region or beyond!  This position will work and report out of our Jones facility in De Pere, WI.  

Your focus is to aggressively seek-out local billboard project opportunities, secure the deal and manage the logistics for an on-time delivery of the final product resulting in complete client satisfaction.  

Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and sell billboard marketing to local businesses and developers; own the full sales process from prospecting to closing
• Acquire new customers through direct sales techniques, cold calling, existing business relationships and business-to-business marketing visits
• Develop new business that meets targeted margin levels; coordinate with internal sources to manage pricing conflicts; qualify business opportunities.
• Work within the local market to source fabrication and installation partners to deliver on-time and on-budget sign projects.
• Prepare proposals and secure contracts for business negotiated to ensure requirements are accurate and are submitted as scheduled
• Provide accurate and reliable sales forecasts in accordance with company plans; communicate with all appropriate levels of staff regarding business activities
• Maintain prospect list and data relevant to projects and accounts
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market behavior and competitive trends

Qualifications:

• Candidates preferably will have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in advertising sales
  • Radio, TV, newspaper, magazine, out of home, billboard, television, etc.  
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Experience with a CRM
• Top notch communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, with service driven professionalism
• PC proficiency with MS Office and Google Docs
