Responsibilities:
Define, develop, and evolve software in a fast-paced, agile development environment using the latest technologies and infrastructure.
Provide technical leadership and collaborate with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements and vision.
Drive efficiency across teams by eliminating duplication and leveraging product and technology reuse.
Lead impact assessments and decisions related to technology choices, design/architectural considerations, and implementation strategies.
Serve as a subject matter expert in processes and methodologies, adapting and improvising in various situations.
Navigate ambiguity and prioritize conflicting demands effectively.
Demonstrate expert-level skills in design, architecture, and development, with the ability to dive deep into implementation when needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
Minimum of 5 years of experience.
Strong professional background in software development and programming.
Work location: Cincinnati, OH or Lynn, MA.
Desirable Attributes:
Experience with engineering tools, APIs, and integration (e.g., NX, NXOpen, ANSYS, APDL, C, C++, C#, QT, scripting).
Background in enterprise-level software development, deployment, and support structures.
Experience with thermal cooling design practices and heat transfer analysis.
Experience with multi-disciplinary turbomachinery design and gas turbine blade component fundamentals.
Familiarity with UX design principles and the ability to quantify the effectiveness of design choices through data.
Experience working in agile environments, participating in scrums/ceremonies, and using tools like Rally or Jira.

• Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems
