Position Summary

The Vice President & General Manager of the TERREPOWER Solar Division will shape the future of a high-growth business at the forefront of renewable energy. With full P&L responsibility and oversight of sales, purchasing, logistics, engineering, and product management, this leader will energize and inspire teams, drive innovation, and deliver results in a fast-moving, competitive market, positioning the division for long-term success and industry impact.
 

Responsibilities 

  • Proven track record as a P&L leader, ideally in renewable energy, or related sectors.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams across sales, supply chain, product management, and engineering.

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into action and deliver measurable results through KPIs.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Resilient, energetic, and inspiring leadership style that thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments.

  • Drive strategic differentiation with initiatives that strengthen our market position through in-depth analysis, competitive benchmarking, and execution of strategies that establish the Solar Division as a category leader

  • Monitor market dynamics by tracking industry developments, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to anticipate shifts and opportunities.

  • Contribute to purchasing initiatives by assisting with supplier negotiations, driving cost competitiveness and strengthening vendor relationships.

  • Advance customer service excellence by fostering a culture of responsiveness, ensuring timely resolution of customer needs, and aligning service practices with long-term relationship growth and satisfaction.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

  • Tenure in the solar industry. 

  • Proven experience in team management, preferably in industrial and solar spaces.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results 

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and decision-making. 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels 

  • Strategic. thinker with a passion for innovation and driving business growth

  • A curiosity around the industrial/solar space, with a strong ability to continuously learn about products, technologies, and customer needs.

  • Up to 35% travel including potential.

  • Travel primarily to trade shows, customer visits.
