Position Summary: 


Responsible for supporting condition monitoring and predictive maintenance activities. This individual must possess, at a minimum, an ASNT Level II certification in relevant nondestructive testing disciplines, and demonstrate expertise in vibration analysis, thermography, and related technologies. The candidate will be responsible for data collection, analysis, and providing actionable recommendations to Government personnel for equipment reliability and maintenance strategies. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform vibration analysis and infrared thermography inspections on mechanical and electrical systems. 
  • Analyze collected data and provide clear, concise technical reports and recommendations to the Government. 
  • Conduct assessments and diagnostics using tools such as Dranetz™ analyzers. 
  • Support predictive maintenance strategies with proficiency in: 
  • Precision balancing of rotating equipment 
  • Laser alignment 
  • Tribology (lubrication and wear analysis) 
  • Airborne ultrasonics 
  • Motor Circuit Evaluation (MCE) 
  • Motor current spectrum analysis 
  • Ensure all inspections, testing, and evaluations conform to applicable ASNT Level II standards or OEM training curriculum where no standard exists. 
  • Maintain documentation and provide training certifications in accordance with DRD 020. 
  • Collaborate with Government representatives to develop and refine long-term maintenance and reliability strategies. 
  • Comply with all program requirements and submit credentials for Government review at phase-in completion and as needed throughout the period of performance (POP). 
Requirements

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • ASNT Level II Certification (or equivalent) in Vibration Analysis and Thermography. 
  • Minimum [Insert] years of experience in equipment diagnostics and predictive maintenance. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of: 
  • Balancing and alignment of rotating machinery 
  • Condition-based monitoring technologies 
  • Electrical motor diagnostics 
  • Dranetz™ power quality and energy monitoring equipment 
  • Strong data interpretation skills with the ability to present technical findings and strategic recommendations. 
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and OEM guidelines. 
  • Ability to work independently and interface with multidisciplinary teams and Government personnel. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Additional certifications in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), ISO Vibration Certification, or related disciplines. 
  • Experience in military, aerospace, or government facilities maintenance programs. 
  • Hands-on experience with advanced diagnostic software and tools. 


Certifications & Training: 

  • All certifications must meet or exceed ASNT Level II requirements. 
  • Certifications and training must be verifiable and approved by the CO or COR. 
  • Ongoing compliance with certification requirements is mandatory throughout the contract period.
