Job Summary
Seeking a Thermal Performance Engineer to support vehicle thermal system development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting for BEV and ICE vehicles. The engineer will work cross-functionally with product teams, lab engineers, and program teams to identify issues, drive resolutions, and support vehicle performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle thermal system instrumentation, testing, and validation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot BEV & ICE thermal/HVAC/cooling systems.
- Support BEV energy consumption and vehicle demand energy analysis.
- Execute and analyze EPA drive cycle and vehicle testing.
- Support DVP&R, simulation, data analysis, and test reporting.
- Assist with hot-weather testing, drive-cell, and wind-tunnel testing.
- Track issues, provide status updates, and drive issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Strong vehicle testing and thermal systems experience.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lead activities.
