Apple is where individual creativities gather together, committing to the values that lead to great work. Every new product we build, service we create, or Apple Store experience we deliver is the result of us making each other’s ideas stronger. That happens because every one of us shares a belief that we can make something wonderful and share it with the world, changing lives for the better. It’s the diversity of our people and their thinking that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do. When we bring everybody in, we can do the best work of our lives. Here, you’ll do more than join something — you’ll add something!\\n\\nOur quality engineering team enables the mass creation of impossible products. We work in tandem with Apple"s world-class designers to develop measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and manufacturing methods that achieve visionary specifications at massive production scale. We lead a network of supplier factories worldwide, with responsibility for our partners" delivery to aggressive schedules. Our focus is on elegant execution of extraordinary battery designs, resulting in products that thrill our customers.

Thermal Module Quality Engineers will be fearless leaders capable of working with multi-functional teams to identify risks, explore solutions, reach consensus and execute mitigations as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will evaluate dimensional, functional, and cosmetic challenges through statistical analyses to make data-driven decisions as well as:\\n•\\tPlan DOEs to resolve impacts on process capability and cell performance, summarize data findings, and implement changes to meet specification standards.\\n•\\tDrive qualification efforts in a wide variety of areas such as metrology, function inspection, cosmetic during module assembly.\\n•\\tPerform failure analysis to understand thermal failure modes and implement preventive measures.\\n•\\tLead quality related functions for a program and serve as a project manager to push efforts at supplier locations.\\n•\\tWrite, assess, and audit validation tests both internally and at the vendors.\\n•\\tDrive vendor process performance improvements through objective measurements using yield gap analysis.

MS degree in Mechanical/Materials/Data Engineering is required, MBA / PhD degree is a plus.\\nExperience with mechanical part development, design, and qualification\\nKnowledgeable about current state-of-art production processes of module assembly and inspection\\nHands-on experience with performance characterization techniques and reliability testing

Experience developing processes quality plans, supplier quality deliverables, inspection solutions , and driving corrective actions/failure analysis efforts\\nFamiliarity with GD\u0026T practices, Metrology, PFMEA and tolerance analysis \\nProject management experience and a deep understanding of problem solving tools including design of experiments, FA, and statistical tools.\\nStrong communication skills and passion to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment.\\nStrong big data analysis skill with multiple tools like JMP/Python/Tableau\\nKnowledgeable about heat transfer theory, acoustics analysis, module assembly, stamping, CNC, testing, SMT, AL/ML will be a plus
