As a FAA Test Technician Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in testing and troubleshooting complex aerospace systems and components. You will work with a team of skilled technicians and engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. In this role, you will impact the performance and reliability of our aerospace systems by conducting thorough testing, analyzing test data, and identifying and resolving any issues or anomalies. You will also be accountable for maintaining test equipment and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform functional and environmental testing of aerospace systems and components
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues during testing and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Analyze test data and generate reports to document test results
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards in all testing activities

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 4 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting circuit cards
  • Experience in repairing circuit cards
  • Strong knowledge of test equipment and tools used in aerospace testing
  • Proficiency in interpreting test data and identifying anomalies or issues

WE VALUE

  • High school Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Associate's degree in a technical field
  • Experience with environmental testing and qualification procedures
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations
