Technician-Electronic-Level 2 FAA

As a Technician-Electronic-Level 2 here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a vital role in supporting our electronic systems and components to ensure their proper functioning and reliability. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electronic equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our operations.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an On site work schedule.  1st shift

In this role, you will impact the operational excellence of our electronic systems by ensuring timely maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and performance.



Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems and components to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to support system upgrades and improvements.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assist in the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all maintenance activities.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proven experience as an electronic technician with a focus on maintenance and repair of electronic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with troubleshooting complex electronic equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with electronic testing instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical manuals.

WE VALUE

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Technology or related field.
  • Experience working in aerospace or industrial electronic environments.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance related to electronic systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

FAA REQUIREMENTS: 

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone).The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.
