Professional Surveyor

RRC is seeking a talented ​Registered Professional Land Surveyor​ to help us build the future of U.S. energy production from our Austin/Round Rock Texas office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Direct and perform all aspects of acquiring, processing, analyzing and compiling data to prepare maps, documents, and deliverables for the following: 

• Boundary surveys 

• Topographic surveys 

• Control and design surveys 

• Plats 

• Records of survey 

• ALTA/ACSM surveys 

• Lot line adjustments 

• Easement acquisitions 

• Assist in development of survey division 

• Manage all day-to-day survey operations 

• Submit applicable documents 

• Perform office surveying tasks and occasional field related tasks 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) 

• Registered Professional Land Surveyor 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising oil and gas, topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys 

• Working knowledge of Topcon/Trimble GPS survey equipment, Trimble Business Center, Survey Pro and Carlson Survey or AutoCAD Civil 3D 

• Construction staking experience 

• Some travel may be required 

• Track record delivering survey deliverables on time and within budget  

• Experience preparing legal descriptions for easements, rights-of-way, and property boundaries  

• Familiarity with survey requirements for renewable energy, commercial development, and oil and gas projects  

• Field experience conducting control, construction staking, and as-built surveys  

• Office experience in drafting, data management, and review of survey documentation and final deliverables
