JOB SUMMARY:
This position will support and help manage a growing, high-volume eCommerce photography initiative. This role supports photography for service parts, accessories, and expanding whole goods categories, with images used across Midmark.com, shop.midmark.com, and Amazon.
In addition to capturing high-quality product imagery, this role is responsible for day-to-day execution of the photography workflow, including editing, batching, file management, and coordination across teams. The photographer will work closely with and help guide a photography co-op, contributing to a collaborative, production-focused team environment.
ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:
Photography & Image Production
Capture consistent, high-quality product photography for eCommerce use.
Photograph a wide range of products, from small technical parts to larger assembled and whole good items.
Follow established lighting, composition, background, and styling standards.
Support batch photography workflows to maximize efficiency while maintaining quality.
Troubleshoot photography challenges related to scale, materials, reflectivity, or complex assemblies.
Post-Production & Editing
Edit images using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom with attention to color accuracy and consistency.
Prepare final image outputs to meet platform-specific requirements for Midmark.com, shop.midmark.com, and Amazon.
Maintain visual consistency across product categories and channels.
Project & Workflow Management
Assist in managing daily and weekly photography priorities.
Track progress against SKU and image targets and communicate capacity, risks, and blockers.
Coordinate with internal partners (Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Operations, Parts, and Product teams) to ensure products are ready for photography
Maintain organized file structures and documented processes to support scalability.
Collaboration & Team Leadership
Work closely with the project lead to plan shoots and refine workflows.
Collaborate daily with a photography co-op, providing guidance and feedback on shooting, editing, and workflow best practices.
Contribute ideas to improve studio efficiency, standards, and overall output quality.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma is required. Proven experience in product or commercial photography, preferably for eCommerce. Strong proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Experience working in high-volume or production-based photography workflows.
COMPETENCY and/or SKILL:
Demonstrated skills in Photography, DSLR or Mirrorless
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for retouching, color correction, and compositing
Experience with bulk image editing and processing
AI-assisted photography flow (culling, editing, processing, etc)
Attention to detail: Keen eye for composition and styling
Equipment/studio management and maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and technology
Cross-functional collaboration
Ability to receive and apply feedback to projects and shoots
Abiliyt to communicate with assisting co-op and ecommerce/digital marketing teams
