Job Summary/Description:

WNEM is recruiting for a Photographer/Editor. The photographer/editor shoots and edits video of various news events and is responsible for capturing the visuals of news stories and editing all forms of media for daily news broadcasts, continuous news platforms, and other special projects, as needed. This position shoots stories in a compelling and brand-focused way to attract the largest audience available to the station's newscasts. The ideal candidate should be familiar with the latest editing tools and able to enhance our stories with creative use of graphics, photos, and other images. In addition to editing news shows, this person must be able to handle photography assignments and have the ability to operate a live truck and other multimedia equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Performs creative editing of news, weather, and sports materials.
- Operates ENND van and Live U Backpacks.
- Transmits and records news, weather, and sports, video and/audio feeds, including ENG feeds.
- Performs limited newsgathering functions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Completion of high school, or equivalent.
- College degree preferred.
- Two years of related news experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
