Real Estate & Vacation Rental Photographer – Outer Banks, NC
Full-Time | Travel Required | Based on the OBX

Sun Realty is seeking a full-time Real Estate & Vacation Rental Photographer to capture the charm, personality, and coastal appeal of our Outer Banks vacation homes. This role plays a vital part in showcasing our properties to future guests and homeowners through high-quality, well-composed photography and visual media.

What You'll Do:

• Photograph a wide range of vacation rental homes across the Outer Banks, from Corolla to Hatteras.
• Stage and compose interior and exterior shots that highlight each property’s unique features.
• Capture community amenities, scenic views, and lifestyle imagery for marketing use.
• Travel throughout the OBX with a flexible schedule based on seasonal needs.
• Upload, organize, and edit photos in a timely manner for web and print use.
• Collaborate with our Marketing and Rental departments to maintain brand standards and visual quality.

? Requirements:

• Proven experience with real estate, architectural, or interior photography.
• Working knowledge of DSLR/mirrorless cameras, wide-angle lenses, lighting techniques, and editing software (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop).
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to properties across the entire Outer Banks.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage a dynamic schedule.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Bonus Points:

• 4WD vehicle (some homes are only accessible via beach driving).
• FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Pilot for aerial photography and video.
• Video shooting and editing experience.
• Familiarity with OBX communities and neighborhoods.

Physical/Mental Demands: Hearing, speaking, seeing, sitting, walking, standing, driving, bending, and climbing steps; lifting and carrying 35+ lbs., reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language.

Machines/Equipment/Licenses: Reliable transportation, with valid, active NC driver license, proper insurance, and inspections (as required in company guidelines); computers, copiers, all office equipment. 

Work Environment: Office work with exposure to outside weather conditions, as warranted; climbing flights of steps inside and out; maneuvering a vehicle in congested traffic, walking in soft sand.

Hours: Full-time, year-round position. Weekends and holidays are not required. Overtime may be required. Regular punctual attendance is required.

Salary Range: Pay based on experience and proven ability, determined Marketing Director.
