The OFAA-Health HR Business Partner I is a specialized resource committed to the USF Health Office of Faculty and Academic Affairs. This position serves as a centralized resource on university and faculty group practice policies and procedures regarding USF Health faculty appointments and processes, and specifically works with incoming faculty, their respective Departments and affiliated hospitals to assist with making ensuring a smooth on-boarding process for incoming faculty. This is a professional position supporting faculty appointments within designated USF Health departments. This position requires considerable contact with assigned department leadership and hiring authorities, through individual appointments, emails and phone calls.
The OFAA-Health HR Business Partner I must maintain working knowledge of university, USF Health and college policies and procedures and interpret them for human resources and faculty reporting matters. They must be able to interpret faculty needs and provide individualized service. This is administrative work, directly related to the mission areas of USF Health, and requiring the application of discretion and judgment on matters of significance within respect to faculty recruitment, appointment, and other personnel matters. This position acts as a liaison for all faculty appointments within assigned USF Health departments and reports to a Senior HR Business Partner, under the USF Health Embedded Services unit.
Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.

• (c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;
• (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
• (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
• Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
• Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
