Description

As a Test Technician - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting our Aerospace business by conducting precise testing and evaluation of aircraft systems and components to ensure their quality and performance meet stringent standards.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the Aerospace business unit by performing critical tests, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to maintain the highest levels of safety and reliability in aviation technology.



Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform detailed testing and evaluation of aircraft systems and components to verify compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot technical issues encountered during testing procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and provide timely feedback to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during testing activities.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in test technician roles within the aerospace or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and equipment used for aircraft systems and components.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures to accurately execute tests.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and software relevant to aerospace testing environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions during testing phases.

WE VALUE

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field.
  • Experience working in aerospace manufacturing or testing environments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality assurance processes in aerospace.
  • Knowledge of data acquisition systems and test automation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in executing test procedures.
