Automotive Photographer

Part-Time — Monday, Wednesday, Friday (until work is completed)
Route: Santa Cruz and surrounding areas
Pay: $24.00+ per hour
(Hourly pay is a combination of base pay and per-vehicle photo payout.)

Workload may vary depending on dealership needs. During heavier weeks, there may be opportunities to assist in Salinas, Monterey, or San Jose, depending on your location and availability.

About the Role

Pro-MotionPix is seeking a part-time Automotive Dealership Photographer to capture high-quality photos, spins, and videos of dealership vehicles using a company-issued iPhone and proprietary app.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors, and paying attention to detail. You’ll be responsible for staging vehicles, capturing professional images, and communicating with dealership staff to ensure vehicles are ready for photography.

No prior photography experience is required — we provide paid training to set you up for success.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking motivated individuals who:

  • Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license

  • Are comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles (preferred, not required)

  • Can work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle physical tasks

  • Communicate clearly and solve problems independently

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Thrive in an independent work environment

  • Are interested in learning automotive and dealership photography

Key Responsibilities

  • Use your personal vehicle to travel to assigned dealership locations

  • Follow a provided schedule to complete shoots efficiently

  • Capture photos, spins, and videos using a company-provided iPhone and app

  • Locate vehicle keys and move vehicles to designated staging areas

  • Communicate with dealership staff regarding vehicles that are unavailable or not photo-ready

Requirements

  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

  • Manual transmission experience is a plus

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Customer-focused and proactive mindset

  • Ability to work independently and outdoors

  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check
