Customer Drawing Mechanical Engineer

Pay Range: $28.09hr - $33.09hr

Job Overview:

The Customer Drawing Engineer is responsible for calculating and documenting engineering forces and moments, Mass and Center of Gravity (CoG), from turbine-generator to customer interfaces such as piping and foundation. Additional responsibilities include updating standard work procedures and identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement through cross-collaboration with varied stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Calculate and document engineering forces and moments, mass, and Center of Gravity (CoG) from turbine-generator to customer interfaces such as piping and foundation.
• Update standard work procedures.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement through cross-collaboration with various stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• 0 to 3+ years of experience in basic mechanical design principles (forces and moments, Free Body Diagrams).
• Knowledge of structural foundation and building codes.
