Architectural Photographer

Dekker is looking for a self-starter with great organizational and communication skills to assist our architecture and design firm with project photography, headshots, lifestyle shots and other miscellaneous photography needs. Qualified candidates must have a portfolio showing a strong aptitude for photographing architecture and interiors as well as have full working knowledge of their digital camera and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and conduct photoshoots independently
• Act as a photography assistant on select photoshoots
• Distribute contact sheets for team selection and organize files appropriately on servers
• Digital post-processing (color correction, composting, retouching, etc.) for final distribution of selected photos
• Manage/track time and equipment usage for reimbursement

• Ability to establish good working relationships with executive level leadership, project teams, marketing and communications team
• Ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous projects

Qualifications

• Formal education in photography is not required, but preference may be given to candidates with a relevant degree or coursework
• 1-3 years of professional experience required
• Experience in Architectural/Interior photography
• Experience in additional photography including head shots, lifestyle shots, and other miscellaneous photography assignments
• FAA Part 107 license preferred
• Experience in videography and video editing preferred
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge, Premiere, and After Effects
