Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Perform general construction labor, including rope pulling, ladder climbing, manual digging, cable handling, and site clean-up
- Stock and load trucks with necessary materials and equipment for daily job assignments
- Organize and maintain tools, materials, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute daily work tasks
- Assist with traffic control and maintain safe work zones
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Accurately complete required documentation, including production reports and material tracking
- Reconcile issued materials and parts daily to ensure accurate usage
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including trucks and job sites
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while performing work
- Work assigned shifts, including overtime as needed
- Perform physically demanding tasks throughout the duration of the shift
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience in general construction or outdoor labor preferred
- Ability to safely use hand tools and perform manual labor tasks
- Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus
- Strong awareness of safety practices, including traffic control
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills when interacting with coworkers and the public
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Physical capability to climb, lift, bend, crawl, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance
- Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
